I had the Pleasure of hearing of you this Morning from your
amiable Friend Mr Glover. It was the first time of my having seen
Him and from his Character and honest venerable appearance
I cou'd not but conceive a respect and admiration which such
a Character must ever Command, with the additional Circum-
-stance of his being your attached friend.
      Mr Hamilton and Jane desire their Compts. I am Dear Miʃs H.

Summary: Incomplete letter from R. Hamilton [Rachel Hamilton, wife of Rev. Frederick Hamilton] to Mary Hamilton. She acquaints her niece that she has met Mr Glover [Richard Glover, writer and politician (1712-1785), friend of Hamilton] and is impressed with his character and appearance.
    Dated at St James's [London].
