mighty Cautious in giving your Opinion. --

you might then have added, good, or bad, as

(To which is Added, The History of the Modern Taste in Gardening by the Latter (1765 and later editions). Hope contributed at least seven essays on Taste to the Westminster Magazine, vol. 1 (1773), and there is an (unsigned) essay ‘On Taste in Gardening [...]’ in the issue for December, pp.697-699, possibly by Hope as well.
