this Evening my Dear Friend, this is to inform you tha[t]
the the Dutcheʃs D of Portland is ingaged on Tuesday n[ext]
I shall be Happy to see you -- and will contrive if you h[ave]
no better way -- to get the Usual Equipage at any Hour you
will name -- and if you can Eat a Boild chicken
with me -- you will make me Happy      adieu --
